Treating Cavities: Fillings or Root Canal Therapy

Having a cavity is worrying, so is the thought of enduring through root canal therapy. However, not all cavities require root canal therapy. Sometimes, all you need are fillings.

Key points:

– You will only require fillings if the cavity has not progressed past the enamel to the nerve tissue.

– Root canal therapy is recommended if there are other symptoms like bad odour, discolouration or sensitivity.

– Do not worry about root canal as the treatment is now painless, thanks to technology.

Please see your dentist immediately, to have your teeth checked.
